Membership
Membership to the Kokusai Hojojutsu Kenkyukai is a pretty straightforward process, and doesn’t require individuals to be of a particular martial arts rank, or even to be members of a martial arts group prior to application.
However, as at this time we do not provide member to member insurance, taking out a private insurance policy is highly recommended.
Firstly all members must be over the age of 18 (over 16s with express permission of the legal parent or guardian).
COST OF MEMBERSHIP
Cost is always an issue when signing up as a member to any group, so once again we want to keep this fair and simple.
Basic Membership: £10 per year
This price includes the monthly research and training notes / coursework and a PDF copy of current edition of the Hojojutsu syllabus book (once released). After five years of Basic Membership, all members are automatically upgraded to the Lifetime Membership status, and the anual membership payments cease.
Lifetime Membership: £50 (One off Payment)
This price includes everything in option 1, but with the addition of a printed copy of the Hojojutsu syllabus book (once released) and a 20% discount on the price of any official training courses or events.
Club Affiliation: FREE*
We believe that building an network of affiliated clubs is just as important as building a network of individuals themselves, and as such decided that club affiliation should be free (Provided that the clubs senior instructor maintains his/her individual membership).
People should be aware that club affiliation does not automatically award all members of an affiliated club membership to the Kokusai Hojojutsu Kenkyukai. Each individual must apply for membership separately.
PLEASE NOTE:
As an organisation registered in the UK, the Kokusai Hojojutsu Kenkyukai is subject to the trade embargos / sanctions put in place by the British Government. As such membership to the following countries is closed until such a time as the enforced embargos / sanctions are lifted.
